Michael J. Brown, R.P.A.
Michael J. Brown, RPA, received his degree from Duke University and was the first formally trained physician’s assistant in New York State. He obtained further training in internal medicine, rheumatology, dermatology, and plastic surgery at the Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, NY.
Focusing on general and cosmetic dermatology, laser treatments, and surgical procedures, which include complex closures for skin cancer of the face, head and neck region, he also has trained internal medicine and family practice residents throughout his career. Mr. Brown is currently a clinical instructor at Strong Health Highland Hospital. In addition he has worked as a sub investigator for numerous clinical drug trials in dermatology.
